Here’s a little history that someone posted on Broadway World

I work at the Richard Rodgers, here’s the short version of the story: Lin was a fan of this kid’s videos on Youtube, and posted supportive comments on his Youtube page. The kid’s mom emailed Lin, letting him know that they would be in town to see Heights for Thanksgiving week. So Lin invited them to the theater, and they filmed this between shows last Saturday before Thanksgiving. He bought everyone in the cast and crew dinner from Carmine’s–it was delicious, and Nicholas and his mom stuck around and saw the show Saturday evening. That’s why everyone’s in street clothes in the video–it was extracurricular, and totally worth it. Happy holiday

Josh Henry from IN THE HEIGHTS is amazing!

This is Josh Henry from IN THE HEIGHTS demonstrating what he does backstage every night during the song “Home”. Andrea Burns told me about it and they showed me, Julia Murney and Peter Flynn while we were doing a benefit in Ithaca for The Hangar Theater.
