First, I accidentally stumbled upon your sassy blog and am loving every minute. What I loved about this deconstruction is your attention to detail. It’s funny that you happen to pick up on something that my friend Dennis and I get ticked off about on a regular basis and that is vowel placement.

Raise the Roof is one of my all time favorites. How can you not love the combination of Julia and Andrew Lippa!?!

Hey Sethie, Julia does the liquid U in “What’s New-uuu, Buenos Aires?” on your Broadway 101 clip — check it out! Also, isn’t the separating of syllables in suh-moking a tip o’the hat to both Andrea McArdle (”Jumping Saint Ju-ooodd”) and Patti (”supermarke-eht?”)???

I loved that!! i love that show. another one that i’ve never seen but i love the cd. that song is so incredible.

i love julia murney. she is so talented. that whole cast is amazing. but i’m slightly biased to anything Idina Menzel’s in.

you should so deconstruct her next.

You are so ridiculously fabulous. These deconstruction videos are educational and thoroughly entertaining. I adore them and all of your other video goodness.

As for Julia Murney……she’s simply beyond awesome. Sincerely. Could she be more, to use your phraseology, a-MAH-zing?

Seth…that was the most fun I have ever had in 9:14. Thank you, and as usual, you have picked up on her brilliance. If I could go back in time, I would get Julia the Tony she deserved for that role. It still haunts me.

I never noticed the liquid U…I’m always going to hear that now!I think I remember Julia doing an interview and mentioning that the 2-syllable gun was something that she did as a result of the choreography too. Like some kick or something. Maybe it was the interview with you? haha.
